I wait like a beacon light is part of the work Waiting for the Inevitable: stories from the sea. Törnroth is interested in the relationship between humans and the sea. Photography, text, and sculpture form a narrative about the potential disaster at sea, and what happens within us while waiting for and in the aftermath of a catastrophe. It's about being torn between hope and desperation, but also the beauty of not giving up.
