Fantasies of leaving
I constantly fantasize about leaving.
I lie in the grass, merge with it, become grass.
I go into the water, and dissolve.
I fall asleep and vanish into the dream.
I walk through a forest clearing, merging with the soil,
becoming the shadow of a tree.
I dive into the yellow fleshy center of a bud and become
nectar.
I flow with puddles into sewage.
This is how I live through dying, giving responsibility
for the cessation of life to the entity from which I came.

Details
The project was active from 2022 to 2024 and is presented through various media: photography, photo books, and fabric prints. In the gallery space, I propose including photo objects that are still in progress, offering a dynamic and evolving element to the exhibition. Additionally, a limited edition of photo books complements the project, providing an alternative and intimate way for viewers to engage with the work.
