Portfoliovisning med den tjeckiska curatorn Lucie Černá

Onsdag 9 april har du möjlighet att visa ditt arbete för den tjeckiska curatorn Lucie Černá. Under 20 min får du berätta om ditt projekt och få feedback på ditt arbete. 

Lucie Černá har kurerat Libuše Jarcovjákovás utställning T-club som just nu visas på Centrum för fotografi. Hon har också formgivit och givit ut fotoboken T-club på sitt förlag untitled.

För att delta behöver du anmäla dig till: anmalan@centrumforfotografi.se 

Anmälan ska innehålla: Ditt namn och en länk till hemsida eller pdf med det material du vill presentera. 

Totalt kommer max 8 fotografer att väljas ut. Samtalen sker fysiskt på plats på Centrum för fotografi, eller digitalt via Zoom. Var noga med att skriva ut vilket du är intresserad av.

Samtalet hålls på engelska.

Lucie Černá är en curator, redaktör och förläggare baserad i Prag. Hon utövar ett holistiskt förhållningssätt med fokus på att bygga starka koncept som fångar det unika i ett konstnärsskap. Hon har alltid ett nära samarbete med de konstnärer som hon arbetar med.

Ett av hennes mest anmärkningsvärda samarbeten har varit med Libuše Jarcovjáková, som hon har arbetat med i nära åtta år. Hennes projekt har nämnts i The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, British Journal of Photography och andra internationella medier med fokus på kultur, konst och fotografi.

Lucie är också grundaren av untitled, ett oberoende förlag och plattform för fotografi och bildkonst. Böcker utgivna på untitled tilldelats betydande utmärkelser och priser som Paris Photo and Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards eller Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.

Lucie Černá is a curator, editor, and publisher based in Prague. She practices a holistic approach, focusing on building strong concepts that catch the essence of the body of work. She has a close cooperation with the artists she’s working with, and deepening their artistic practice are central to her work. One of her most notable collaborations has been with Libuše Jarcovjáková, with whom she has been working for almost 8 years. 

Her projects have been mentioned in The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, British Journal of Photography, and other global media outlets focused on culture, art, and photography.

Lucie is the founder of untitled, an independent publishing house and platform for photography and visual art. Books published by untitled have been listed on significant awards and prices as the Paris Photo and Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards, or the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.
