Martin Kull

Biografi

Martin Kull (b. 1959, Stockholm) is a Swedish photographer and artist working between documentary and fine art photography. His practice focuses on landscape, time and process, often exploring the traces of human presence and the long-term effects of environmental change.

His personal projects engage with environmental issues and the climate crisis, frequently through experimental and process-based photographic methods where material, place and chance become active parts of the image-making.

Alongside his artistic work, he works as a freelance photographer within portrait, event, wedding and adventure photography, bringing a sustained and observational approach to commissioned assignments.

Martin Kull holds an MA in Entrepreneurship in the Arts (Photography) from Novia University of Applied Sciences, Jakobstad, Finland (2022), as well as a BA from the same institution.

He has published two photobooks and has exhibited widely in solo and curated group exhibitions across the Nordic region.
