Biografi

I work at the intersection of documentary photography and artistic storytelling. In my practice, I am drawn to places shaped by history and presence—often small towns, everyday environments, industrial areas, and spaces in transition. These are places that carry traces of people’s lives, dreams, and labor. I am fascinated by what remains: the colors, architecture, details, and atmospheres that speak of time, memory, and identity.

My connection to these places is deeply personal. I grew up in a small town shaped by working-class culture, where conversations about society, justice, and change early on formed the way I see the world. That background has given me a strong interest in environments that often exist on the margins of contemporary narratives, yet still carry a sense of magic, presence, and human traces.

I am particularly interested in how places affect us emotionally—how certain environments can feel charged, almost dreamlike, despite being entirely ordinary. My visual language is drawn to both color and stillness, to the contrast between the soft and the raw, between nostalgia and the present.

Through the camera, I search for the poetic within the overlooked. I want to create images that not only document a place, but also capture its atmosphere, silence, and soul—the things that otherwise risk disappearing.
