Biografi

Camilla Lohmann (b.1975 in Copenhagen, Denmark)

Fine art photographer normally based in Copenhagen, but current studying a bachelor's at HDK-Valand in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I work primarily with analog photography, but I also make videos and publications.

Before entering the world of photography around four years ago, I worked for over 20 years in the fashion industry as a tailor, patternmaker, production, and as fashion designer.

In 2019 I left the fashion world to try something new and in January 2020 I started studying photography at Copenhagen Film & Photography school, where I graduated in December 2020.

In August 2022 I started a bachelor's in photography at HDK-Valand.

I use photography to feed my curiosity about the world and I work with a wide range of subjects including children, teenagers, and elderly people.

For the last 1 1/2 years, I have been working on portraying the Copenhagen transgender, non-binary, queer, and BIPOC community.

I'm drawn and fascinated by people who are exploring and playing with gender and sexuality and who visibly create their own identities.
