In If you were here now, Irmelie Krekin looks back at the moments of life – those that became, and those that never were – in an exhibition that weaves together presence and memory.

In If you were here now, photographer Irmelie Krekin presents a selection of works reflecting on time, memory, and the fleeting nature of being.

There were no pictures of Beck, Shaun Ryder, John Spencer or Lauryn Hill – but something else. Something more personal.

Since the mid-1990s, Irmelie Krekin’s photographs have appeared in magazines such as Pop, Bibel, and Svenska Dagbladet City. Her unconventional visual storytelling quickly gained attention and established her as one of the most distinctive photographers of her generation.
