In Dividing by Zero, Andrej Lamut constructs scenes where logic breaks down. Bodies and objects appear trapped in absurd, uncomfortable situations within undefined space. The images function as puzzle pieces that, once assembled, reveal a metaphysical world shaped by phobias and intrusive thoughts.

The title hints at the idea of something impossible and paradoxical, touching on themes of existential ambiguity, the breakdown of conventional meaning, and the search for something inherently elusive. The project explores the boundaries of perception and experiences that defy straightforward interpretation.

The modular wall and podium that display the artworks act as a disruption within the exhibition space and dictate the way each photograph is perceived. Rather than presenting the works in their entirety at once, they create an interplay of concealment and revelation.
