Armkroksresa till Fotofestivalen i Łódź, Polen

Under resan får du inspireras av högklassigt fotografi och skapa nya nätverk på en av Europas viktigaste och mest banbrytande festivaler, Fotofestiwal i Łódź. Armkroksresan sker under festivalens öppningshelg 18 – 21 juni.

Centrum för fotografi täcker resor och boende upp till 6000 kr samt ackreditering till festivalen.

Ansök genom att skicka en motivering på högst 2000 tecken där du anger på vilket sätt denna resa kommer att stärka din fotografiska praktik. Skicka motiveringen till  info@centrumforfotografi.se senast den 20 april.

Fotofestiwal, founded in 2001, is one of Central and Eastern Europe’s pioneering photography festivals. Each year, it transforms Łódź – a city rich in industrial heritage – into a vibrant hub for contemporary photography, attracting over 20,000 visitors from across Europe.

For 10 days, the festival fills more than 20 venues with over 30 exhibitions and 50 events, creating a city-wide celebration of visual storytelling. Exhibitions appear not only in galleries, museums, and universities but also in unexpected locations such as former textile factories, an old swimming pool, historic palaces, and open-air spaces, offering visitors a truly unique experience.

The program features curated exhibitions (Main Program, Open Program, and book exhibitions), artist talks, slide shows, film screenings, and educational activities. The festival highlights photography that engages, provokes thought, and inspires action, presenting work that reflects the world and its pressing issues.

Fotofestiwal has received coverage in prestigious international and Polish media, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, British Journal of Photography, Der Greif and others.
