Salon CFF 2022 will, for the first time, take place in three different cities simultaneously – Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The traditional salon has been running since 2001, and this year we broke a record with 176 applying photographers. Together, they create an inspiring and multifaceted overview of what photography is today.
This year’s expanded exhibition is part of an initiative to create a meeting place for professional practitioners throughout the country and to advance the conversation about photography. In 176 works, deeply personal experiences as well as distanced observations are conveyed in a variety of expressions. The images contain a mixture of several different modes of expression, photographic languages, and narratives.
It is a challenge to convey a strong experience in just one image, but the photographers have succeeded. I hope that visitors experience the salon as creatively diverse and inspiring as the photo scene is today. We are very pleased to be able to make Salon CFF accessible in several locations for a wider audience.

Salon CFF 2022 is exhibited at Vulkano in Gothenburg, Galleri St Gertrud in Malmö, and Galleri CFF in Stockholm. Participants have been placed within the region in which they operate; other participants have been assigned a place. A total of 176 members participate, whose works are for sale. The proceeds go directly to the artists.

Opening Reception
The opening reception for this year’s salon will take place in all three locations simultaneously. We will be serving mulled wine and gingerbread cookies. Welcome!
