Booking school assignments through the Ministry of the Arts
All our activities are provided by professional practitioners. The Ministry of Arts platform exists to facilitate the meeting between school and artist and provides a clear overview of bookable school assignments, time required and cost. First, you as a school need to create a profile on the Ministry of Arts in order to be able to book. Once the school’s expression of interest has been approved by the administrator, school assignments can be booked. Using the filter function, you fill in what suits you – grade, art form, type of activity, etc. Click on the link to visit the platform Konstdepartementet.se

Artists in school

Centrum för fotografi is committed to bringing more artists into schools, with the wide range of expressions and methods that contemporary art contains. Bringing artistic processes into schools also provides new paths to knowledge in other subjects, especially for children with special needs. As a student, meeting a professional artist and hearing how they work also has value when it comes to seeing possible paths in life. We hope that the Ministry of the Arts will be an asset for you who work in schools, and provide opportunities for your students to encounter paths to new knowledge and development.

Creative school

Creative schools are government grants that the school’s principal, i.e. the municipality, can apply for from the Swedish Arts Council. The grant is intended to complement the work with culture that the school already does. Independent schools are principals for their own activities and apply for the grant themselves from Kulturrådet.
