How Do You Read a Photobook? Take 10 Press Meets the Hasselblad Foundation Library

How do you read a photobook? Or do you actually read photobooks? Don’t you just look? Sometimes they can consist only of images and be very abstract?
Welcome to a conversation between two experienced photobook readers, Alberto Rossi from Take 10 Press and Andréas Hagström from the Hasselblad Foundation Library, who share their experiences with photobooks and how they approach a new photobook through a number of examples they have selected from their respective libraries.

Welcome to the opening of Photo Books in Dialogue / Photobooks in dialogue. Centrum för fotografi, in collaboration with Fotobok Gbg, presents a photo book exhibition featuring photographers and artists whose works have emerged from encounters with others.

The Photo Book Festival is a collaboration between Centrum för fotografi and Fotobok Gbg, with support from the City of Gothenburg and the Swedish Photographers’ Association.
