Large photographic prints mounted on cardboard and foam board depict the play of shadows on the dark window surfaces of the houses. The photos were taken in northern Gotland, where a large proportion of the houses stand empty during the winter. The title alludes to the English title of Ingmar Bergman’s film Through a Glass Darkly; his first recorded on Fårö, Gotland.
