The exhibition “Invasion” showcases nine Ukrainian photographers documenting the Russian invasion of their homeland since February 2022. The photographs primarily focus on the consequences of military aggression and people’s daily lives during the war. The visual images vary in genre from reportage photography to artistic interpretations of events, with documentary photography as the key medium.

The installation is arranged by Ukrainian Warchive in collaboration with Centrum för fotografi and curated by Emine Ziyatdinova. Ukrainian Warchive is a digital archive with the goal of preserving documentary material from the Russian invasion and providing support to Ukrainian photographers who are documenting the events in their homeland. Ukrainian Warchive is supported by the Swedish Institute and the Hasselblad Foundation.
