Peripheral vision is the ability to see things outside your direct line of sight. Noticing and paying attention to what is not necessarily the most obvious is a gift shared by the photographers in this book. They reflect different views on and approaches to a changing Sweden and showcase a selection of contemporary photography that oscillates between the documentary and the poetic. This book brings together twenty Swedish photographers, most of whom have become established in the last decade. The book is produced by the Center for Photography (CFF), with the ambition to arouse and spread interest in Swedish photography and to further reach a Swedish and a wider international audience.
