Open call: The Art Department
In collaboration with Region Skåne, the Art Department offers 10 professional visual artists who want to work with children and young people within the framework of their practice to develop art projects together with them.
As a visual artist, you will receive a continuing education course that gives you in-depth knowledge in aesthetic learning and art education, as well as practical knowledge about co-creative artistic processes.
The course includes individual guidance and editorial support in the formulation of the art project. Completed projects are posted here on their digital platform together with other art projects, and are mediated via the Art Department and Region Skåne.

About the Art Department
Konstdepartementet is a non-profit organisation founded in 2019 by Konstnärscentrum Öst in collaboration with four national centre formations in visual arts and design: Konstnärscentrum, Illustratörcentrum, Konsthantverkscentrum, and Centrum för fotografi. In our operations, we collaborate with regions and municipalities, as well as with museums, art galleries, and art associations around the country.
Today we are a project within Konstnärscentrum nationally.
