On Wednesday, April 9, you have the opportunity to show your work to Czech curator Lucie Černá. You will have 20 minutes to talk about your project and get feedback on your work.

Lucie Černá has curated Libuše Jarcovjáková’s exhibition T-club, which is currently on display at the Centre for Photography. She has also designed and published the photo book T-club on her publishing house untitled.

The application must contain: Your name and a link to a website or PDF with the material you want to present.

A maximum of 8 photographers will be selected. The conversations will take place physically at the Centre for Photography, or digitally via Zoom. Be sure to specify which you are interested in.

The conversation will be held in English.

Lucie Černá is a curator, editor, and publisher based in Prague. She practices a holistic approach with a focus on building strong concepts that capture the unique essence of an artist’s work. She always works closely with the artists she works with.

One of her most notable collaborations has been with Libuše Jarcovjáková, with whom she has worked closely for eight years. Her projects have been mentioned in The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, British Journal of Photography, and other international media outlets focused on culture, art, and photography.

Lucie is also the founder of untitled, an independent publishing house and platform for photography and visual art. Books published by untitled have been awarded significant distinctions and prizes such as the Paris Photo and Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards or the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.
