Portfolio Review Umeå
Are you a photographer? Come and present your portfolio to Alexandra Ellis, curator at the Sune Jonsson Centre and Västerbotten Museum, and Mia Bengtsson Plynning, national coordinator at the Centre for Photography.

Are you a photographer? Come and present your portfolio to Alexandra Ellis, curator at SJCD (Sune Jonsson Centre for Documentary Photography) and Västerbotten Museum, and Mia Bengtsson Plynning from CFF (Centre for Photography).
Prepare for the review by assembling a portfolio of 20–40 images, either physical or digital. For digital presentations, please bring your own computer. Please note: Showing a website is not sufficient; we want you to have made a selection of your work that we can discuss.
5:00 PM
We will start with Alexandra Ellis presenting the exhibition Panorama of a Society in Transition with photographs by Sune Jonsson, and talking about the video work When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Black Man.
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Portfolio review in the Skogen meeting room. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with both Mia Bengtsson Plynning and Alexandra Ellis separately. Each session is 20 minutes/person. Times will be allocated in order of registration.
8:00 PM – 8:15 PM
After-talk and closing.
