Studiecirkel
Photobook Club 2026 in Gothenburg
Welcome to a study circle in collaboration with the Hasselblad Foundation and the Art Collective in Mölndal.
Welcome to a photobook circle led by Hasselblad librarian Andréas Hagström and the Art Collective’s operations manager Lars Dyrendom.
The photobook circle starts on February 4th and meets for five Wednesdays every three weeks. Four meetings will be held at the library at the Hasselblad Foundation, with a final session at the Art Collective in Kvarnbyn. All meetings will take place physically in Gothenburg.
At each session, one of the participants will present between 2–5 photobooks based on their own theme. The first time, Andréas Hagström presents, and the second time, Lars Dyrendom; after that, two volunteer participants from the group will present.
For the first session, Lars and Andréas have also selected a photobook by a Gothenburg-based photographer, of which all participants will receive a copy to take home and read. At the final session at the Art Collective, this book will be the focus.
The group will have 10 participants. If more than 10 people sign up, Andréas and Lars will make a representative selection to put together a group of curious and engaged participants with different knowledge and backgrounds.
