Program Manager
Centrum för fotografi is a membership and interest organization for those working in photography. CFF offers a broad program that addresses photography for those working in the field as well as for an interested public. We operate throughout Sweden, but much of our activity is based in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
We are now seeking a Program Manager at 60% who will work with CFF’s programs throughout the country. The program activities currently consist of; lectures, talks, portfolio viewings, workshops and courses. The position involves planning and developing new program items and working with existing formats, from idea to implementation and evaluation. You will work closely with colleagues in both Gothenburg and Stockholm. You will be responsible for creating a relevant, engaging and varied program for different target groups, both professionals in photography and a broad group interested in photography. The position involves travel in Sweden, budget responsibility, communication of programs and also administrative tasks. You will staff the program items and also assist with staffing the office.
To succeed in this position, you need to be able to make contacts easily and make things happen quickly. You communicate clearly both internally and externally and you have the ability to easily formulate yourself in text aimed at different target groups. You have experience in applying for different types of support and have good knowledge of photography and art and the infrastructures that exist within the field. You are used to driving projects and working independently, but are also keen to include others. You have good administrative skills and are used to planning long-term.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience of similar work tasks and a college or university degree in photography, art or culture.
In addition to the qualification assessment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
The workplace is located in Stockholm at Bjurholmsplan 26. The position is a permanent position of 60% with a 6-month probationary period. The work is scheduled Wednesday – Friday, but is planned according to the needs of the business and evening and weekend work occurs. Travel throughout the country occurs. Start date by agreement.
