Coordinator, 40%, permanent position with a six-month probationary period.
Centrum för fotografi is a membership and interest organization for those working in photography. CFF offers a broad program that concerns photography for both those active in the field and for an interested public. We have members and activities throughout Sweden.
We are now seeking a coordinator to support the association. As a coordinator, you have a central role at Centrum för fotografi and can handle both practical matters such as the installation of exhibitions, image documentation, and simpler technology. You also work with administrative tasks such as member administration, simpler accounting, and invoice management. You support the organization in communication work and can work in templates in Photoshop and Indesign and with website updates.
You staff the office during opening hours and plan the weekend staffing, and you answer various types of questions that come in from members and the public. You are responsible for two major projects during the year, one of which is Salong CFF, which takes place in three locations in Sweden—here you work with everything from the announcement of the exhibition to the evaluation. You are also responsible for our exhibition space, Fönstret.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has worked closely with photographers or artists, who has created exhibitions themselves or worked with others’ exhibitions. You have good communication and administrative skills and are practically inclined. You have a degree in photography, art, or cultural field (or experience that is considered equivalent) and experience of similar work tasks.
In addition to the qualification assessment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
The workplace is located in Stockholm at Bjurholmsplan 26. The position is a permanent position of 40% with a 6-month probationary period. Work is scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays. Start date by agreement.
