In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to identify and prepare for change early, both within and outside the photographic field. During Landskrona Photo Festival, you and other participants will investigate how the role of photography in society is changing – and what that may mean for your work going forward.
Signal Scanning is a method for detecting signals; signs of changes that may become significant in the future. Signals are sometimes something that feels slightly surprising or odd. They can be, for example, new behaviors, rituals, business models, technological solutions, or opinions.
During a focused hour, we will explore the unknown, the uncertain, and that which does not yet exist, to better prepare ourselves for the changes to come. After the workshop, you will take with you a method for capturing and using signals in your daily work.
