Open Call: Photobook Market at Fotobok Gbg 2022

We are looking for self-published books and small-scale publications to take part in the book market!

On the last day of the festival, the venue will be transformed into a photobook market where there will be book publishers and tables for self-published books.

Here’s how it works: You send two copies of your publication and we provide staff to sell them. If your publications are sold, visitors can pay you directly with Swish, or we can charge with Zettle and send sales invoices afterwards, with the addition of fees and book tax of approx. 10 %. We can only provide this for sellers within the countries in the SEPA zone. If you live elsewhere, you must be aware of a higher commission.

If your book is not sold: If your books are not sold, you can choose to either have them sent back at your expense (return slip must be included) or donate them to us and we will give one copy to the Hasselblad Foundation’s library and one copy to the library at the Center for Photography in Stockholm.

Registration takes place via the form no later than November 1.

The publications must be in place in Gothenburg no later than November 12.

Fotobok Gbg 2022 is a festival dedicated to photobooks and is organized together with Centrum för fotografi. The festival takes place between November 17-20 on Sweden’s west coast, in Gothenburg. Through artist talks, lectures, exhibitions and workshops, the festival tries to raise different voices, support and highlight the regional scene and bring international books to the city. Previous editions of the festival were held in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
