Workshop with Theo Elias and M.H. Frøslev: The Personal Photograph
“The Personal Photograph” is a workshop led by photographers Theo Elias and M.H. Frøslev. Over eight days, you will have the opportunity to develop a new or existing photographic project.
During an intensive week, we will delve deeply into each other’s work, and you will receive concrete tasks and tools to develop your own photographic voice. Together with the other participants in the course, you will gain motivation to develop your own visual language, help with design and selection, as well as guidance and support during the process.
You do not need to be a trained photographer to participate, but you should be familiar with the basic technical skills such as ISO, aperture, and shutter speed (the camera is subordinate).
The starting point for the workshop is your own work and your own process and how you can develop with it. Whether it is a project that you have not yet started, or a project you have struggled with for several years, Theo Elias and Mathias Frøslev will guide you through the entire creative process for a week, from preparation, photography and design to selection and finished exhibition.
The workshop concludes with a joint pop-up exhibition in the gallery at Centrum för fotografi.
